Our staff objectively provides scientific analysis, testing, monitoring, and consultation of the built environment, ensuring healthy indoor environments and safe working environments.
Past clients include the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Federal Emergency Management Agency, U.S. military, Federal Bureau of Prisons, lawyers, doctors, public and private insurance adjusters, builders and remediators, homeowners and property management companies. . . Truly anyone with a need.
Whatever your need, because Gulf Coast Center for Indoor Air Quality Services and all employees have no interests in other business or service ventures, you can trust the impartial, thorough, unbiased assessment services that you receive. We pride ourselves on our strict "no conflict of interest policy", detailed analytical processes, analytical reports, remediation protocols, and quick turnaround times.
Gulf Coast Center for Indoor Air Quality Services and all employees are bound by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH) and the American Council for Accredited Certification (ACAC) code of ethics. These canons provide standards of ethical conduct for industrial hygienists, indoor environmental consultants, building assessors, and indoor air quality assessors, as they practice their profession and exercise their primary mission: to protect the health and well-being of workers and the public from indoor environmental hazards and risks.
We provide proactive and reactive hazard and risk assessments. During a building assessment, we measure water activity, document observed causal factors, test the indoor air/environmental quality, check the HVAC system, diagram findings, collect photographic evidence of findings, and more. All samples are sent to our accredited laboratory for analysis; then, a detailed report with a corrective action plan (i.e., protocol) for remediation is generated.
We provide consultation to legal teams, expert witness testimony, and more. This may include peer-reviewing one or more of the following: other assessor's reports, estimates for restoration or remediation, monitoring logs, communication logs, and other pertinent information.
Our safety consultants and industrial hygienists will interview you and your team to develop a standardized assessment, testing and consultation service, geared to fit your needs. We utilize the latest regulations, standards, guidelines and research documents to provide reliable proactive and reactive services.
After the remediators have completed their work, we can assess the work area to assure the indoor air/environmental quality has returned to a sustainably good condition. If the assessment demonstrates further work is necessary, our assessors can offer consultation to you and your contractor to help bring your remediation project to a successful conclusion.
Reach out to us and one of our certified assessors will contact you to provide a no obligation review of your needs.
When seeking a consultant who is invested in your needs, there is no better choice than Gulf Coast Center for Indoor Air Quality Services. But don't take our word for it. . . .

~ Tammy Durden, Office Manager
"Our office needed some help with a small amount of water damage to one of our walls. My dad is an extremely nervous person when things like this happen. Honestly it was a little to much stress for him to handle. Mostly due to the fact to the lack of knowledge as to the best way to fix the effected area. I was really concerned that someone was going to come in and apply the scare factor to drive the price up with this repair, however just the opposite happened. Jason came out to our office looked at the area, and sample reports that we had already completed. As much to my surprise he came up the a plan of action to completely resolve the issue with a very reasonable cost. However the best thing he did for me was to bring comfort to my dad. He completely explained the reports to us in detail and put everything into simple and understandable terms. Jason is one of those special people that perfectly combines knowledge, work ethic, integrity, honesty, and most importantly the people skills. In my line of work it's key to be able to recommend a service provider and know that my client is going to be satisfied. I can think of nobody that I feel more comfortable recommending than Jason. As a matter of fact I have done just that, I passed his name out several times."

"Jason is the kindest and most caring person that I have had the pleasure to know. His attention to detail goes beyond the norm. I would trust Jason in any circumstance."
"I cannot say enough good things about Jason. He took the time to explain our options and made our situation become manageable. After Jason's help I was confident in our path forward to getting our problem fixed."
It is nice when people do what they say they're going to do! Jason arrived on time and explained what he was doing so we could understand. The report he provided was detailed and again, understandable. Very positive experience and highly recommended.
"Jason Yost, industrial hygienist, is as thorough a professional as I've encountered in 40 years of legal trial practice. . . Engaging personally, a thorough instructor, a teacher in every sense, a diagnostician par excellence who also - not common - has a burning desire for remedy, for solutions. Jason Yost is my chief resource for physical, biological issues of any nature. I cannot recommend him more highly."
